Raising Finance

We understand that growing businesses need finance and perhaps help if they are to reach their potential, and they need this without fuss, with maximum discretion and at a reasonable cost.  They are often too small or too early for the traditional Venture Capital market.  That is where we come in, as the only major, national company specialising in Business Angel Investment.

Raising private equity funding is neither easy nor quick but Beer & Partners will help companies which we believe have the capacity to provide returns for the management team, existing shareholders and incoming investors. We work as quickly as our clients and investors will allow, maintaining discretion at all times, and working to the highest possible ethical standards for the protection of our clients.  We aim to do everything we can to make fund-raising painless, so clients can get on with running their businesses.

We are not a database of investors; we vet our investors carefully, and we know each of their investment likes and dislikes.  That is why we are so successful for our client companies.  In a typical year we will raise capital for more than 50 businesses, in a wide range of sectors.  No one else can begin to match that track record.

Make sure that all our investors see your investment proposal in the best possible light, discretely.

Help you through the long negotiation and legal process with investors.

New investment usually needs a whole new range of legal documents and clients of the firm should be prepared for this.  The link below gives some standard examples of shareholder agreements, board resolutions etc that you might need.  We do recommend however that you seek advice from a solicitor who is experienced in private equity transactions
